We are currently looking for a Site Manager for Yguazú to join our team

What  you can expect in this role:

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Site Manager is responsible for the technical efficiency of operations in the warehouses, in accordance with established productivity standards. This includes managing the three teams he is responsible for, Diagnostic, Repair (Lab) and NOC Technicians, as well as collaborating with other functions and departments for proper operation, such as the infrastructure and maintenance department.

More specifically, here are some of the key responsibilities:

• Responsible for the entry, implementation, and management of all warehouse activities, including operational improvement initiatives
• Responsible for team performance and leadership. It manages work schedules, communicates daily priorities, plans vacations, ensures effective onboarding, ongoing training, coaching and feedback, as well as effective communication
• Responsible for reporting to the infrastructure team any need for corrective maintenance or deviation in operation that may affect operation
• Ensures that there is an effective response protocol 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for drops in the hash rate and ensures optimal mining performance
• Ensures optimal conditions, in conjunction with the H&S department, for technicians to carry out the work
• Ensures that the pools are properly configured and validates that all miners have the desired firmware 
• Coordinates the optimization of transformers and racks with the available power and designs the electrical plan
• Promotes Bitfarms' culture of health, safety and well-being by promoting new and existing initiatives, with the support of the H&S team

Here's the profile we're looking for:

• Bachelor degree or about to graduate in engineering, preferably industrial, electrical or related
• More than 3 years of experience in team management
• Desirable: mining or data center experience and  knowledge of cryptocurrencies, blockchain, etc.
• Desirable: advanced English level
• Autonomous with ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong analytical, prioritization, interpersonal, problem solving and planning skills
