We are currently looking for a Diagnostic Technician Level 3 to join our team.

What  you can expect in this role:

Performs diagnostics and reconfiguring malfunctioning computer equipment. With the acquired experience, contributes to the continuous improvement of the site activities and may guide, support and train Level 1 Technicians.

More specifically, here are some of the key responsibilities:

• Keep the premises clean and maintain the general site
• Ensure the safety of the site and remove snow, ice, water, leaves, dust etc... as needed
• Perform accurate miner diagnostics and maintain high site hashrate using manufacturer and/or internal software
• Diagnose electrical problems and list outlets for electricians
• Replace switches, make uplinks and network connectors as needed
• Take ownership of health, safety and wellness matters on site
• Produce RMA lists
• Responsible for test activities and consolidation of miners in an accurate way and validate tests performed by level 1 and 2 technicians
• Assemble network connections/cables and mount them in racks
• Verify the quality of the assembly performed by the level 1 and 2 technicians in a visual and functional way
• Ensure the proper functioning of security devices (camera, alarm system and time sensor etc.)
• Clean miners (remove dust with compressed air machine)
• Take charge of material deliveries between sites as needed
• Compile lists of miners to be diagnosed
• Act as a culture ambassador by living Bitfarms’ values
• All other related tasks

Here's the profile we're looking for:

• College diploma in electronics/computing (Preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical/electronic/cable assembly with 1+ year in a similar industry
• Advanced experience in repairs, assembly and disassembly
• A valid driver's license and a vehicle for work-related travel
• Demonstrate good manual dexterity for repairs, assembly and disassembly
• Mastery of the work safety standards of the work environment
• Proactive with an inquisitive and problem-solving mind
• Able to perform handling tasks to move the miners
• Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Advanced computer skills
