We are currently looking for an ON-SITE ELECTRICIAN to join our team

What  you can expect in this role:

To support its growing operations, Bitfarms is looking for a On-Site Licensed Electrician with over 2 years of experience to carry out various electrical work and tasks. This role entails a lot of physical demand including but not limited to: bending, lifting, extended periods of standing, leaning, etc.

More specifically, here are some of the key responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine electrical needs and plan installations.
• Inspect electrical components such as circuit breakers, transformers, and wiring to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform diagnostics to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors to coordinate and complete projects on time.
• Act as an Ambassador for the Bitfarms Operation Way process (BOW)
• Organize and administer training sessions as required to promote electricity safety standards.
• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• General maintenance of the premises on a daily basis (snow removal from entrances, sweeping, organization of storage, etc.)
• All other related tasks

Here's the profile we're looking for:

• Valid Washington State Electrician License 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an electrician, with a proven track record of successful electrical installations and repairs.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and codes.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions.

• Experience with specialized electrical systems (e.g., VFD, Automation, high voltage).
  • Advanced certifications or additional training in electrical systems.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Carpentry experience a plus
