We are currently looking for a Site Manager to join our team.

What  you can expect in this role:

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Site Manager is responsible for the technical efficiency of multi-farm operations in line with established productivity standards. This includes the management of a team of Diagnostic Technicians and the collaboration with other functions operating on the farms, such as the Repair Lab and the NOC. The ideal candidate will not only provide strategic guidance but will also be actively engaged with their team, working side-by-side with employees to foster collaboration, drive productivity, and create a positive work environment. This role requires someone who is approachable, hands-on, and willing to step in and assist with tasks when necessary, ensuring that the team is supported at all levels.

More specifically, here are some of the key responsibilities:

• Responsible for the cleanliness, safety and maintenance of the premises in collaboration with the infrastructure team and/or by deploying the team of technicians to solve problematic situations such as removing snow, ice, water, leaves, dust etc... as required
• Responsible for the input, implementation and management of all site activities including operational improvement initiatives
• Responsible of the team's performance and leadership. Manage work schedule, communicate daily priorities, plan for vacation/paid time off, ensure effective onboarding, ongoing training, coaching and feedback as well as effective communication)
• Ensures effective 24-7-365 response protocol is in place for hashrate drops and secures optimized hashrate performance
• Identifies and proactively communicates potential problems and coordinates their resolution between departments (e.g. electrical, IT problems, intrusion, cameras, etc.)
• Maintain inventory of and process requests for ordering office supplies and tools needed to maintain proper operation of the farm, including hardware
• Configure MGMT rack visual and validate that data is accurate
• Ensure optimal conditions for technicians to perform the work (low temperature, low dust levels, adequate security measures)
• Ensure that the pools are properly configured
• Validate that all miners are on the right desired firmware
• Coordinate the deployment of machines and the start-up of the different sites following a new installation or a restart
• Ensure that all technicians are aware of the tasks to be performed and can implement them
• Ensures the proper functioning of key tools (sprinklers, exhaust fan, transformers, etc.) and takes action as needed
• Ensures the maintenance of vehicles within their region
• Coordinates the optimization of the transformers and racks with the available power
• Develop the electrical plan
• Own Bitfarms’ health, safety and wellness culture by championing new and existing initiatives, supported by the HSW team. Participate in the global Joint Health & Safety Committee
• Support safe and effective use and maintenance of equipment, facilities, supplies
• Act as a culture ambassador by living Bitfarms’ values
• All other related tasks

Here's the profile we're looking for:

• High school diploma
• 3+ years of experience managing a team on site and experience overseeing multiple sites (ideally in an industrial environment)
• 1+ year experience in mining or in a data center
• Good knowledge crypto, blockcchain, etc...
• Good command of Microsoft Office
