We are currently looking for a Vice President of HPC (High Performance Computing) to join our team

What  you can expect in this role:

The VP of HPC is responsible for providing directing strategic planning activities, evaluating new opportunities and driving initiatives that contribute to the development of Bitfarms’ HPC business vertical. The initial focus of the role will be to lead the strategic exploration of HPC as a viable new business and bring recommendations and comprehensive plans to expand presence in this market. The incumbent will then lead the implementation and start-up of the HPC function, putting into place an effective operational structure and operating plans. 

More specifically, here are some of the key responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and business plans to drive long-term growth and market expansion into HPC.
• Build strong  HPC team focused on developing new business opportunities, deploying strategies.
• Subject matter expert in the area of HPC data center management.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats in the HPC market globally.
• Produce periodic industry research reports for Bitfarms leadership.
  
• Articulate the HPC strategy clearly and concisely to potential partners, financiers, industry participants, media outlets and other external sources.
• Create and manage capex and opex budgets for new HPC data center projects.
• All other related tasks.

Here's the profile we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science or other related field.
• 10+ years’ experience in HPC data center engineering, development and management.
• 5+ years’ experience in senior leadership role
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  
• Able to analyze, organize, summarize and articulate complex information.
